John Miller

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Crowley for John Miller, 71, who passed away at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at 5:30 a.m. in Crowley.
Fr. Billy Massie, associate pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church, officiated for the services.
Burial was in Woodlawn Mausoleum in Crowley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 5:30 in the evening in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation resumed on Thursday, Dec. 17, at 8 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife, Joycelyn D. Miller of Crowley; one daughter, Tina Miller of Abbeville; one son, Karl Miller and wife Randi of Crowley; two step-sons, Toby Daigle of Crowley and Neil and wife Samantha Daigle of Opelousas; one step daughter, Erica Daigle of Crowley; three sisters, Sadie Melancon Bourge of Hampshire, Texas; Roberta Miller of Crowley and Rita Boullion of Crowley; and 16 grandchildren.
Mr. John was preceded in death by his parents, Remie and Ada H. Miller; two sisters, Roussella Marks Blackwell and Ruby Leger; one brother, Preston Miller; two nephews, Kendall Bouillion and Remy Miller.
