Dean Colligan Robin
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11, at a 2 p.m. liturgical service at Sts. Peter & Paul Grande Mausoleum in Scott for Dean Colligan Robin, 84, who died on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, in Houston, Texas.
Entombment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Grande Mausoleum in Scott.
Deacon Art Bakeler will conduct the service.
Survivors include one daughter, Faith Robin; and two sons, Donnie Robin and Kent Lafleur; four grandchildren, Derek Robin, Daniel Robin, Kris Lafleur and David Lafleur; five great-grandchildren, Chase Robin, Bryce Robin, Levi Robin, Anna Kate Robin and Landon Lafleur; and a brother, Patrick Colligan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Adam Robin; her parents, Tom B. Colligan and the former Philomene Estilette; and two brothers, Whitney Colligan and Tilghmon Colligan.
Mrs. Robin was born on Jan. 28, 1932, in Church Point and was a resident of Lafayette for 50 years. She was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and served on the Ladies Altar Society. Mrs. Robin was a CCD teacher and also an administrative volunteer at the church rectory in Scott. Mrs. Robin was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived her life for her family and her God.
Pallbearers will be Derek Robin, Daniel Robin, Kris Lafleur, David Lafleur, Tilghmon Colligan Jr., Brian Treadway, Jacob Treadway and Daniel Phillips.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille’s Scott location on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
A Rosary will be prayed in French and English at Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Scott at 1 p.m.
