Mary A. Maynard

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Mary A. Maynard, 63, who died March 6, 2016, at Lafayette General Hospital.
Fr. Matthew Higginbotham, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, will be officiating for the services.
The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Tuesday from 40 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Interment will be in Abshire Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Brandy Hayes and husband Kim of Crowley; three sons, Bobby Dale Leger and wife Starr of DeRidder, Chad David Leger of Crowley, and Jason Brock Leger and wife Ashley of Crowley; one sister, Margaret Maynard and wife Judy Abshire of Crowley; five brothers, Larry Maynard and wife Karen of Crowley, Bob Maynard and wife Lulu of Morse, Johnny Maynard and wife Tina of Thibodeaux, Chris Maynard of Crowley and Billy Maynard and companion Earline of Duson; seven grandchildren, Sarah Leger, Alyson Hearod, Kennedy Leger, Emma Hayes, Logan Meyers, Abigail Hayes, and Cassidi Leger; and three great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland “Pop” and Margaret Weber Maynard; two sisters, Helen Maynard, and Gal Matthews; and one brother, Gerald “Goat” Maynard.
