Rosina M. Kinkade

RAYNE – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, April 1, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Rosina M. Kinkade, 72, who passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 11:48 a.m. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Samuel Fontana, associate pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, officiated for the services. Burial was in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery in Rayne.
The family requested visitation be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary was recited at 5 o’clock in the evening on Thursday in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation resumed on Friday, April 1, 2016, at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include her mother, Anna C. Menard of Rayne; two brothers, Carroll and wife, Elaine, Menard of Rayne and Christopher and wife, Melisa, Menard of Rayne.
Rosina was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Kinkade; her father, Howard Menard; one sister, Brenda Holloway; and one brother, Patrick Menard.
