Zoia Olivier, 59, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 8, 2016, at Rayne Guest Home in Rayne. Zoia was the daughter of Hubert Elwood Olivier Sr. and Dorothy Jean Evans Olivier. She was born in Shreveport but was a resident of Egan and called it home. Zoia was a hard worker and was truly dedicated to her family and meeting their needs. She was an independent woman raising her children and grandchild in a loving home. Taking care of others made her home a welcoming place. She was known for a spotless and tidy home. Zoia enjoyed the outdoors and keeping her lawn and flowers appealing to the eye.
Zoia Olivier leaves a wonderful legacy to be cherished by three children, Matthew Lavergne of Egan, Josh Levergne of Paragould, Arkansas, and Summer Levergne of Egan; a granddaughter that she was caring for, Ah’mya Levergne of Lafayette; one brother, Hubert (Meri) Olivier Jr. of Lafayette; grandchildren, Gracie Crochet and Melonie Crochet, both of Evangeline; one nephew, Jerret Olivier; and one niece, Christina Abshire of Iota. Zoia also leaves footprints on the hearts of a large circle of family, friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to defray expenses to Hubert & Meri Olivier P. O. Box 351 Milton, LA 70558.
