Lee Perry Guidry Sr.

Lee Perry Guidry Sr., 71, beloved father and grandfather, died Wednesday May 25, 2016, at a local hospital surrounded by his family.
Mr. Guidry was born on Sept. 24, 1944, in Crowley to Amadia and Ora Cormier Guidry. He was a resident of the Lake area since 1960. He was retired from Offshore Energy Services and of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his parents and a brother, Amadia Guidry Jr., Lee was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Sharon Crockett Guidry; and three grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memories four children, Lee Perry Guidry Jr. (Madelyn) of League City, Texas, Jennifer Lynn Guidry of Lake Charles, Stephanie Mott (Nicholas Gaspard) of Lumberton, Texas, and April McClure (Michael) of Lake Charles; brother, Joseph Guidry of Lyons Point; seven grandchildren, Hayley, Riley, Autumn and Audrey Guidry, Victoria and Evelyn Mott and Chloe and Ethan McClure; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 30, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be observed at 10 a.m. on Tuesday ,May 31, at St. Martin De Pores Catholic Church with Monsignor Jace Eskind serving as celebrant.
