Rayne Mardi Gras Court Named

Cast set for Jan. 14 ‘Through the Looking Glass’ Mardi Gras Ball

Although it’s just barely past Labor Day, planning is under way for the sixth annual Rayne Grande Court Mardi Gras Ball.
Themed “Through the Looking Glass,” the event will be staged Jan. 14, 2017, at the Rayne Civic Center and will be reigned over by Queen Suzette Leonards and King Jamie Bergeron.
The entire court was named during a social recently held at Rayne City Hall. In addition to the “royals,” others participating in this year’s extravaganza will include:
Blake Alleman as “Mr. Time;”
Jennifer Autin as “The Red Queen;”
Chad Dupuis as “Too Much Time On My Hand;”
Ashley Brasseaux and Michelle Arsement as “Card Soldiers;”
Amber Richard as “The White Queen;”
Anthony Beslin as “Mad Hatter;”
Cecile Benoit as “Alice;”
Drew Racca as “Cheshire Cat;”
Annalise Fruge as “Tweedle Dee;”
Klarisse Thibodeaux as “Tweedle Dum;” and
Lane Autin as “Rabbit.”
