Barbara Faye “Eyes” Richard

Funeral services for Barbara Richard, 45, of Rayne will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Branch, La.   with the Rev. Craig Gregory officiating.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Church Cemetery in Branch.
Barbara Richard passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at her home following a brief illness.
She was the daughter of Darrell Roberts of Rayne and the late Beverly Richard.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Richard and Ja’naysha Richard; two sons, Ja’marcus Richard and Michael Richard, all of Rayne; and two grandchildren, Amar’e Williams and Ay’jah Williams.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Richard; grandmother, Eva C. Richard; granddaughter, Camry Williams; a loyal companion, Michael Handy; an aunt she loved like a sister, Dianne Richard; a special friend, Ronnie Rochon; and a brother she loved dearly, Darell Dugas.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley.
