Charles Rodney Pellerin

Mire - Funeral services will be held at Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church, Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at a Mass of Christian Burial for Charles Rodney Pellerin, 74, who died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at his residence in Mire, LA.
Interment will be in the Assumption of the BVM Cemetery, Mire, LA.
Surviving are wife, Gloria Winn Pellerin of Mire; three daughters, Angie P. Nero and husband, Timmy, of Scott, Mel P. Guidry and husband, Troy, of Scott, and Pamela P. Denais of Scott; seven grandchildren, Lauren Johnson and husband, Lance, Garrett Guidry, Ethan Guidry, Leah Guidry, Wyatt Nero, Joel Nero, Cutter Denais; four great-grandchildren, Marlie Claire Johnson, Trace Dylan Johnson, Bella Guidry, and Alex Latiolais; and godmother, Regina McMannus.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Kevin Pellerin, and Chadwick Pellerin; parents, Louis Pellerin and Anna Mae Boudreaux Pellerin; and one sister, Judy Pellerin Vincent.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7411 in Mire, LA.
He worked at Lafayette Wood Works for 47 years and retired as a assistant manager.
Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA Wednesday, October 21, 2015, 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 22, 2015, 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
