Delta Marie Stutes Meche

SCOTT - Delta Marie Stutes Meche, resident of Scott, has sadly passed on from this world to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday March 16, of this year 2016.
Born Delta Marie Stutes on May 14, 1944, she was a beloved daughter of the late Obin and Elizabeth Stutes, residents of Duson.
Lovingly known as “Coeur,” meaning “heart” in the Cajun-French language, she was loved by all, and especially beloved by all her nieces and nephews as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Obin and Elizabeth; an infant son, Allen; a nephew, Gerald Richard; her godchild, John Gerald Stutes; sisters-in-Iaw Mary and Mary Sadie; a brother-in law, Dennis Richard; and her brothers, Willie, John Sidney, Louis and Harry Lee.
Although she will be missed, her memory will be preserved by all who knew and loved her, especially her devoted sisters Mary Margaret and husband James and Marie Louise.
Fly on sweet “Coeur” ... soar with the angels.
Arise with your Heaven’s wings on high ...
We’ll think of you always, safe in the arms of our Loving Savior ...
Where you are now safe from all earthly harm: safe from enemies, worry, and strife.
Now you begin your new and eternal glorious life.
