Ethel Estellette Murphy

Funeral services will be held for Ethel Estellette Murphy, 96, on Wednesday, July 15, at 3 p.m. at the Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley Chapel with Rev. Loyd Singley and Rev. Gerard Morgan officiating.
The family has requested visitation be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday, July 15, at 8 a.m. until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Maxie Cemetery. Mrs. Murphy passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 11, 2015.
She is survived by her children, Lorraine Morgan and her husband Bubba of Crowley, Delores Trahan of Roberts Cove and Michael Murphy of Crowley; eight grandchildren, Dana Morgan and wife Tammye, Jason Morgan, Zan Trahan and wife Beth, Shane Trahan and wife Christine, Donovan Trahan and wife Michelle, Heath Murphy, Aaron Murphy and Dustin Murphy; one sister, Agnes Reiners of Sibley; 17 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Estellette and Rosa Daigle Ancelet; step-father, Simar Ancelet; grandson, Russell Miller; son-in-law, Ray Trahan; brothers, Clarence Estellette and Walter “Cuz” Ancelet; and sisters, Gladys Guidry and Vernice Hillage.
Pallbearers will be Dana Morgan, Jason Morgan, Heath Murphy, Aaron Murphy, Dustin Murphy and Shane Trahan.
