Fay Marie Leger Ledford

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Fay Marie Leger Ledford, 61, who died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:05 a.m. surrounded by her loving family.
Fr. Matthew Higginbotham, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A rosary will be recited Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Duane S Ledford, Sr. of Crowley; two daughters, Beth Ledford Schefcik and her husband Travis of Crowley; Jackie Ledford of Crowley; one son, Duane S Ledford, Jr. of Youngsville; her mother, Ethel Leger of Rayne; four sisters, Ruth Ann Leger of Rayne, Myra Leger of Crowley, Cecile Leger of Rayne and Sheila Schexnaider of Abbeville; two brothers, Joey Leger of Jennings and Mark Leger of Rayne; four grandchildren, Brantley Schefcik, Gavin Schefcik, Olevia Schefcik and Samuel McGrew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merton Leger; one sister, Claire Leger.
