Huey Paul Byron

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Huey Paul Byron, 79, who died April 23, 2016, in Onalaska, Texas.
Elder Thomas O’Neill will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Thursday from 11 a.m. to the time of services. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Adonna Byron of Onalaska; six daughters, Kimberly Riggs and her husband Chuck of Denver, Colorado, Laura Osborne and her husband Ted of Vernal, Utah, Peggy Wade and her husband Harold of Sandy, Utah, Tina O’Neill and her husband Thomas of Clarksville, Tennessee, Nichole Wagner of Philadelphia and Nisha Green of Onalaska; five sons, Anthoney Byron and his wife Wendy of Naples, Utah, Huey Byron Jr. and his wife Monica of Layton, Utah, Willie Byron and his wife, Alisha of Layton, Nick Elkins and his wife Tammy of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and Bradley Elkins of Topeka, Kansas; 33 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Byron is preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Ella Gordon Byron; his parents, Willie and Maria Toups Byron; four sisters, Helen Hargrave, Mary Jane Dugas, Gelta Dugas and Willa Mae Hanks; and two brothers, Joseph and Stanley Byron.
