Joyce N. Baudoin
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott, for Joyce N. Baudoin, 83, who passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment was held in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Scott.
Reverend Bill Ruskoski, Associate Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard, was the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and conducted the funeral services.
Joyce was a lifelong resident of Scott and was retired from White Real Estate, where she worked for over 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Her family was her life and she enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Cormier and her husband Dave of Mire and Diane Stelly and her husband Carroll of Rayne; three grandchildren, Chad Cormier and his wife Monique, Christa Guidry and her husband Chris and Joshua Stelly and his companion Casandra Marceaux; five great grandchildren, C.J. Guidry, Drake Cormier, Chase Guidry, Evan Cormier and Layla Stelly; and two sisters, Agnes Hayes of Baker and Audrey Goodwin of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Elda Navarre; her first husband and father of her children, A.J. Landry; and her second husband, Dave Baudoin.
Visiting hours were observed on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand Drive, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Rosary was prayed at 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours continued on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers were Dave Cormier, Carroll Stelly, Chad Cormier, Joshua Stelly, Chris Guidry and Drake Cormier. Honorary Pallbearers were C.J. Guidry, Chase Guidry and Evan Cormier.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Lafayette General Medical Center, especially the staff in ICU, for their compassionate care.
