Laura L. Breaux

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 8, at 2 p.m. at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Laura L. Breaux, 83, who passed away at 10:15 p.m. Monday, July 4, at Evangeline Oaks Guest Home in Carencro.
Pastor Berl Adams, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Church Point, officiated for the services.
Burial was in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Broussard.
At the family’s request, visitation was held on Friday, July 8, from 10 a.m. until the time of services, all in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.
Survivors include two sons, Murphy Breaux of Opelousas and Dominique Breaux Jr. of Scott; Mary Ann Clothier of Kaplan, Penny Mae Breaux Covington of Kentucky, Kathleen Trahan of Broussard; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Ms. Breaux was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic Breaux Sr.; two sisters, Katherine Thibodeaux and Lillian Smith; two grandchildren; her parents, Adam and Azema LeBlanc.
