Linda Mae Thomas Jones

Mrs. Linda Mae Thomas Jones was born to Leola and Morris Thomas on Oct. 30, 1953, and passed away on Oct. 30, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Lourisa Gallow; and two brothers, Elton Thomas Sr. and Nolton Thomas Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Leola and Morris Thomas; four sisters, Beatrice White of Opelousas, Bertha Thomas of Lafayette, Ruby Tezeno of Crowley and Betty Thomas of Orange, Texas; two brothers, Clifton Thomas Sr. of Crowley and Ovilla Thomas of Opelousas; six sons, Vris Thomas and Clifton Thomas Sr. (Lushae) of Lake Charles, Jerome Thomas (Keisha) and Daniel Thomas of Crowley, Clinton Thomas of Oberlin and Tyrone Thomas Sr. (Carsandra) of Opelousas; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other beloved family and friends.

The family has requested that visitation be held beginning at 9 a.m. until time of service (11 a.m.) for Linda on Saturday, Nov. 15, at St. Joseph B.C. Church. Internment will follow in the South Crowley Cemetery.

Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley has been entrusted with the arrangements.
