Lucille R. Villejoin

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, at 1 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Lucille R. Villejoin, 95, who passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 1:50 a.m. surrounded by her family at Southwind Nursing Home in Crowley.
Br. Gerard Morgan, associate pastor of Northside Assembly of God Church in Crowley, will be officiating for the service. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery in Kaplan.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, May 22, at 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday, May 23, at 8 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include, three sons, Vernice and wife Beatrice Villejoin of Crowley, Ernest and wife Gail Villejoin of Estherwood and Lee and wife Nancy Villejoin of Winnie, Texas; one daughter, Linda and husband, Calvin Nugent of Morse; one sister, Elia Trahan of Crowley; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Villejoin; four grandchildren, Patricia Villejoin, Melinda Seaux-Simon, Renee Villejoin and Jeffery Nugent; six brothers and five sisters.
