Lynn Oscar Morgan
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Lynn Oscar Morgan, 69, who died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, in Crowley, surrounded by his family.
Rev. Matthew Higginbotham will celebrate the Mass and the committal services will follow at the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Lynn was born May 23, 1946, in Rayne, to the late Oscar and Lillian Daigle Morgan. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Breaux Morgan of Rayne; his daughter, Terry Lynn Lemaire of Mire; brother, Lawrence Morgan and wife Freda of Crowley; a sister, Louise Leger and husband Roger of Crowley; six grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Winnie Morgan.
