Mandy Thomas

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at First Church of God in Christ for Mandy Thomas, 58. Visitation will be held at the church prior  to the service, from noon to 2 p.m. 

Mandy Lewis Thomas was born Nov. 26, 1955, in Crowley to the late Antoine Lewis and Liza Cain Lewis. She departed this life on Saturday, June 7, at Southwind Nursing Home. Mandy was educated in the public schools system of Acadia Parish.

Mandy was united in holy matrimony to the late Eugene Thomas where they celebrated many years of memories.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Jules Milstead Jr. of Bryant, Texas, Reginald Milstead of Lafayette and Johnny Milstead (Shameque) of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Chevon Milstead and Shyri Lewis of Crowley; two brothers, Ronald Lewis of Rayne and Paul Lewis of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters, Virlia Delco (Raymond), Rosella Guillory (Leonard) and Mary Ann Minix of Crowley; and a host of others, including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Thomas; her father, Antoine Lewis; her mother, Liza C. Lewis; her daughter, EnChantra Milstead; her brothers, Elbert McDonald, David McDonald, Johnny Lewis; and her sister, Cathy Milstead.

Wilturner Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
