Marie Antoinette Gossen Puissegur

Antoinette was born on December 18, 1923 in Rayne, Louisiana and has lived in Crowley since, happily married for 67 years.
She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School, Rayne La in 1941. She loved her days of travel with dad and shared many of these special memories with her loved ones. Her life was filled taking care of her 8 children, gardening and reading about travel and faraway places. Many of her children and grandchildren share her sense of adventure and travel. The magnets from places of her travel as well of those of her children and grandchildren decorate her kitchen.
She will be deeply missed by her husband and loving family. She is survived by her 8 children: William Joseph (Amanda) of Baton Rouge; Michael James (Karen) of Lafayette; Marie Elizabeth Holmes of Lafayette: Steven Charles (Judy) of Maxie; Patricia Ann Heinen (Paul) of Lake Charles; Robert Paul (Michelle) of Crowley; Rebecca Louise Zierau, of Houston: Ramona Theresa Cunningham of Shreveport. Three sisters, Helen G. Agreement of Rayne, Lucille G. Reiner’s of Opelousas, Catherine G. Cramer of Opelousas; and a brother, Raymond Gossen of Rayne.
17 grandchildren: Katy Puissegur, Caleb Puissegur; Joshua LeMaire, Jacob LeMaire, Kenny Holmes; Amanda Heinen, Scott Heinen; (Natalie); Erick Puissegur, Jeremy Puissegur; Elise Puissegur, Drew Puissegur, Jordan Puissegur; Danielle LeMaire, Andreas Zierau, Nikolaus Zierau; Alexandra Cunningham, Michael Cunningham. 1 great grandchild; Ty Heinen. And many dearly loved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Nicholas Joseph Gossen, of Roberts Cove, and Marie Magdalene Bollich Gossen, of Mowata; a brother, Robert Gossen: and sister Edna Plattsmier and a grandchild, Brandy Marie LeMaire.
