Funeral services for Patrick James Richard, 51 of Anchorage AK will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Crowley. Interment will follow in Suire Cemetery, Forked Island.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 12:00 P.M. until 10:00 A.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Crowley, and will continue on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to service time in the funeral home.
Patrick passed away on January 19, 2014 in Seward, AK.
A native of Crowley, Patrick was a 1980 graduate of Crowley High School. He had lived in Alaska for 10 years. Patrick will be greatly missed by his many friends and family members.
He is survived by two children, son, Brian J. Richard of St. Louis, MO, and daughter, Jessica and husband Mason Jones of Anchorage, AK; grandson, Rylan Walls of Anchorage, AK; three granddaughters, Kara Richard of St. Louis, MO, and Taylonie & Yvonnie Jones of Anchorage, AK; parents, Earl and Janes S. Richard of Crowley; two brothers, Darren Richard and wife, Lisa of Crowley, and Duane Richard and wife, Marsha of Crowley; sister, Rebecca “Becky” Trahan and husband, Wade of Crowley; four nephews, Chad Richard and wife Tanya, Benjamin & Brendan Richard of Crowley, and Travis Richard Richard and wife, Kelsey of Egan; five nieces, Jenny Smith and husband, Amar, Megan Gray and husband, Justin, Chelsea Kidder and husband, Nick, Gabrielle Doucet and husband, Hollis, and Jenna Richard, all of Crowley; two great-nephews, Britlyn Wade Doucet of Crowley, and Kayden Richard of Jennings; and eight great-nieces, Shayla & Harley Smith, Tehannie & Olivia Richard, Bailey & Ava Kidder, Mela Doucet, and Makayla Lebouef, all of Crowley.
Preceding Patrick in death were his grandparents, Mayo & Louise Suire, and Joseph Richard of Crowley; uncles, Harold “Bud” Richard, Alton Vincent, and Milton Menard; aunts, Alva Suire and Rosetta Menard; and cousins, Michael Suire, Matthew Richard, Brandon McManamy, and Ashley Richard.
