Ralph Norris Webster

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Ralph Norris Webster,  85, will be held Saturday, April 18, at St. Joseph Baptist Church at 1219 W. Hutchinson Ave. in Crowley.

Born and reared in Crowley, Mr. Webster passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 10:55 a.m. with services to be conducted by Pastor Matthew Kelso. Internment will be at West Crowley Cemetery.

Mr. Webster is survived by his wife of 17 years, Shelia Webster; his brothers, Alex C. Webster of Seattle, Washington, Rev. Harreld D. Webster of Los Angeles, California, and Rev. Isaiah J. Webster of Baton Rouge; his sisters, Ionia M. Strong of Glendale, Arizona, and Harriet J. Harris of Hercules, California; his children, Katherine M. Webster, Deborah L. Webster and Kenneth W. Webster, all of Crowley, Rapheal Bradley of Carencro, Lydia Webster Murray of Lake Charles, Rebecca Webster of Baton Rouge, Rev. Ralph N. Webster Jr. of Berlin, Germany, Andre Webster of Lake Paris, California, Charles Webster of Lafayette, David S. Webster of Long Beach, California, Alex Webster of Topeka, Kansas, and Antoinette Webster of Lafayette; 23 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Rogers Webster; his daughter, Melba Webster Hoffpauir; his brothers, Jesse Webster Jr., Herschel Webster, Edward Webster and Rev. Norman Webster; and his sisters, Eddie Webster and June Carol Webster.
