Rita Dyson Trumps

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, May 4, at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Rita Dyson Trumps, 66, who died at her residence early Friday morning, May 1, 2015.

Deacon Tom Summers will conduct the services. Visitation may be observed on Sunday, May 3, from noon until 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in the Estherwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Rita was born July 17, 1947, in Cameron, to the late Durfey and Caroline Dyson.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Trumps of Crowley; three daughters, Tracy Lynn Gotreaux, Sandra Trumps and Karen Trumps, all of Crowley; a son, Kenneth Trumps of Crowley; three grandchildren Joshua Trumps, Leah Marie Trumps and Cody Myers, all of Crowley; and two great-grandchildren, Braden Joseph Gary and Adriana Salzman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Christopher, Calvin and Paul Trumps; two brothers Floyd and Edmond Dyson; and two grandchildren, Trai and Tabatha Leger.
