Rita M. Credeur

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Rita Mae Istre Credeur, 70, who died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at her residence.
She was laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband, Jessie Credeur of Crowley; two sons, Steven J. Credeur and wife Georgia Perry of Florida and Kenneth A. Credeur of Crowley; three daughters, Lori and husband Nolan Laviolette of Erath, Sharon LeJeune of Jonesboro and Connie and husband Ray Soltis of Portsmouth, Virginia; one brother, Jerry P. Istre of Crowley; one sister, Olida Marie Istre of Crowley; five grandchildren, Nicole Laviolette, Erika Laviolette, Holly Soltis, Anna Soltis and Denise Credeur; and one great grandchild, Mia Nicole LaPoint.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clesmay Istre and the former Leah Leger, and one brother, Terry Michael Istre.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 8 a.m. until services with a rosary prayed at 11 a.m.
