Warren Charles Rourk
Memorial services will be held Monday, July 6, at 3 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Warren Charles Rourk, 74, who passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at his residence in Church Point.
Monsignor Charles Mallet will be presiding over the services.
Mr. Rourk was a native of Crowley and lived there most of his life. In addition, he lived in Rayne, Ruston and Lafayette before moving to Crowley with his father and mother.
He graduated from St. Micheal’s in Crowley. He worked with his father in Nichols Department Store in Crowley and became owner operator after his father’s retirement.
He was a veteran of the military having served in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed spending time fishing, cooking and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Christopher Rourk and wife Alicia of Carencro and James Warren Rourk of Lafayette; and two grandchildren, Brandi and Ashley Rourk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Warren Rourk and the former Nabbie Mathew.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from noon Monday until service time on Monday.
