Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 7, at 4 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Weston A. Thibodeaux, 81, who passed away at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 2:17 p.m.
Pastor Berl Adams, pastor of Church Point First Baptist officiatedfor the services.
Burial was in the St. Joseph Catholic Church New Cemetery Mausoleum in Rayne.
The family requested the visitation be held on Saturday, May 7, from 9:30 a.m. until time of services, all in the funeral home chapel in Rayne.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah G. Thibodeaux of Rayne; five sons, Randy and wife Lianie Thibodeaux of Brufy, Gary and wife Pearl Thibodeaux of West Monroe, Clinton Thibodeaux of Rayne, Douglas Thibodeaux of West Monroe and Kelly and wife Sonya Thibodeaux of West Monroe; one sister, Mary Thibodeaux of Rayne; one brother, Linton and wife Estelle Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; 14 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Eva D. Thibodeaux; three brothers, Wesley, J.B. and Henry Thibodeaux.
