Rayne — Funeral services will be held at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Branch on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 1 pm for Skylar Lee Credeur, 20, who died August 21, at her residence.

Interment will be in the St. Edmund Cemetery in Branch.

Surviving are her mother, Alidia Credeur Bertrand; sister, Taylor Bertrand; brothers, Even Bertrand, Blake Bertrand and Drake "Kaboose" Bertrand; grandparents, Joyce and Victor Credeur; her high school sweet heart/boyfriend, Bryar Babineaux; aunts, Amie Jeannson and husband Carl, Addie Rose Carpenter, Sally Stelly and husband Mark, Peggy Ann Williams and husband Charles, Betty Lepine and husband Freddie, Rosae Murphy and husband Jerry; uncles, Richard Carpenter and wife Tammy, Joseph Credeur and wife Connie, Ricky Credeur and wife Shelly, Edmond Credeur and wife Cathy, John Ray Credeur and wife Pricilla.

She was preceded in death by aunt, Agnes Ardoin; aunt, Judy Carpenter; uncle, J.R. Carpenter; and uncle, Randy Carpenter.

A rosary will be recited Friday, August 23, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, on Friday, August 23, from 11 a.m. until Saturday, August 24, at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a benefit account in Skylar's name at Midsouth Bank to help cover funeral expenses.
