Lady Wolves score win, prepare for district play

The Lady Wolves Volleyball Team claimed a four-set win over Carencro as the 2016 season is progressing along.
With a 25-16, 21-25, 25-12, 26-24 score, the Lady Wolves were led at the met by Destiny Alleman with 7 kills and a block.
Kendal Edmond, Mark Jenkins and Tajané Butler also added to the tally sheet. Edmond recorded 4 kills, 1 ace and 2 digs, Jenkins with 3 kills, 1 assist, 1 ace, and Butler had 4 kills and 8 assists. With Butler on assists was Whitney Comeaux with 8, along with 4 aces and a dig.
Completing the Rayne offense were Natalie Alleman, Emma Patsor, Peyton Richard, Tiesha Young, Savanna LaCombe, Destini Carrier and Madison Lavergne.
The Lady Wolves hosted Lafayette High on Wednesday and dropped a three-set match, 15-25, 14-25, 19-25.
The Lady Wolves were led at the net by Kendal Edmond and Destiny Alleman each with 5 kills.
Whitney Comeaux and Tajané Butler led in assists, while Madison Lavergne and Tiesha Young recorded 5 digs each.
The Lady Wolves were scheduled to begin district play this week when they host Crowley High. Rayne will travel to Iota on Tuesday where they will take on the Lady Bulldogs, followed by home contests on Wednesday and Thursday when they will host Breaux Bridge and Northwest High.
