Lady Wolves Volleyball Camp set

The 2014 Annual Lady Wolves Volleyball Camp will be held June 2 - 5 (Monday - Thursday) between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 noon at the Rayne Civic Center.

Cost to attend the camp is $80 per child ($40 for an additional sibling), which includes a camp T-shirt.

Registration will be held Monday June 2 (the first day of the camp) from 8 - 9 a.m. in the lobby of the Civic Center. At this time, the balance will be due if a deposit was made. Full registration can also be made this day.

The camp is open to girls entering grades 2 - 8 for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year. The campers will be grouped by age and experience. The focus of the camp is to teach the basic skills of volleyball, along with specific movement patterns. Players will also learn concepts of team play, and rules. The basic skills to be taught are serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and individual defensive techniques.

All campers should come dressed in a T-shirt, shorts, socks and tennis shoes. Although it is not mandatory, all campers are encouraged to wear knee pads.
