Mouton is double-threat at 4-A State Track Meet

Rayne High’s Tristan Mouton will represent the Rayne High Track Team this weekend when she will participate in not one, but two events at the 2015 4-A State Track Meet.
Mouton claimed two top finishes on Wednesday during the Regional II-4A Track Meet held at UL-Lafayette’s Cajun Field.
As the returning 300-meter hurdle champion, Mouton enters this year’s state meet with the top qualifying time in 4-A competition.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Mouton will try to improve last year’s second place finish at state.
This weekend’s 4-A State Track Meet will be held again this year at LSU’s Bernie Moore Stadium in Baton Rouge.

Girls 4x100 relay (Mouton, Shaw, Dugas, Tanner Wilson);
Girls lomg jump (Jasmine Shaw) 10th place;
Girls high jump (Charlesha Dugas) 11th place;
Girls Triple Jump (Tanner Wilson) 7th place;
Boys 400-meter dash (Cordracus Thomas) 5th place;
Boys shot put (Desmond Cole) 7th place.
