Rayne High track keeps busy

The 2015-2016 Rayne High Track Team hosted their 2016 Wolf Relays on Wednesday, March 30, at the Rayne High Stadium as announced by Coach Kaine Guidry.
In the field for the Wolves, Trent Winbush placed sixth in the long jump (18-3) and Tyler Carriere was fifth in the shot put (36-6.5). In the discus, Gavin Arceneaux placed second (108-9) and Christian Svensdon at fourth (98-2).
On the track, John Daigle turned in a second in the 300m hurdles (44.77) and fifth in 100m hurdles (18.26). Deion Handy completed Rayne scoring with a fourth in the 800m run (2:29.12).
Rayne will participate in the Church Point Bear Paw Relays to prepare for their district meet slated Wednesday, April 20, at Washington-Marion High School in Lake Charles.
