Rayne High track results

The 2015-2016 Rayne High Track Team have been busy traveling to a number of track meets around the area as announced by Coach Kaine Guidry.
Their opening meet was hosted by Cecilia High on March 4 at Breaux Bridge High School. Placing for Rayne were Gavin Arceneaux (3rd discus) and Trent Winbush (3rd long jump.
On March 11 Rayne traveled to Breaux bridge for the Crawfish Relays. The lone place came from Arceneaux who placed third in the discus at 108-4.
At the Bobcat Relays held March 21 at Eunice High, four Rayne athletes placed: Tajanae Butler (2nd high jump 4-10), Charlesha Dugas (6th high jump 4-8), Gavin Arceneaux (5th discus 110-3), and John Daigle (5th 110 high hurdles 17.72 and 5th 33 hurdles 44.94).
During Friday’s Bulldog Relays held at Iota High, Trent Winbush placed 3rd in long jump (19-9) and Gavin Arceneaux was 4th in the discus (113-0).
Following the Bear Relays on April 13 at Church Point High, Rayne will participate in their District Meet on April 20 at Washington-Marion High School in Lake Charles. Regionals are scheduled for April 27 at Benton High School of Shreveport.
