Rayne to host North DeSoto in first round

Rayne High will host No. 20-ranked North DeSoto Friday evening at Wolf Stadium in the first round of the 2013 state football playoffs, one of many bi-district games to be played by a number of teams in Acadia Parish.

The Wolves enter the playoffs at the #13 seed as announced by the LHSAA Sunday afternoon, after finishing runners-up of District 4-4A with a win over Opelousas Friday.

Ticket information will be announced as soon as arrangements are complete.
