RAYNE TO HOST NORTH DESOTO IN FIRST ROUND

Rayne High will host No. 20-ranked North DeSoto Friday evening at Wolf Stadium in the first round of the 2013 state football playoffs, one of many bi-district games to be played by a number of teams in Acadia Parish.

The Wolves enter the playoffs at the #13 seed as announced by the LHSAA Sunday afternoon, after finishing runners-up of District 4-4A with a win over Opelousas Friday.

Reserved tickets are now on sale at the school, with general admission sales held only at the gate the evening of Friday's game.

Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. at Wolf Stadium.
