Wolves, Ladies split Lagrange games

The Lady Wolves improved their district record to 4-0 on Friday when they hosted LaGrange High, 67-56.
The Ladies held a slight 33-24 lead at the half, and then pulled away  with the eventual win on the heels of Charlesha Dugas who dumped in 30 points for Rayne on the night.
Dugas also nabbed nine rebounds, seven assists and six steals on a very productive night.
Cierra Harmon did her part for the Lady Wolves with 11 points, seven rebounds and three steals, while teammates Whitley Larry and Tanner Wilson each hit double digits with 10 each. Larry also had 11 blocks on the night.
In earlier action, the Lady Wolves took a commanding 57-26 district win over Washington-Marion.
Dugas led scores with 15 points, followed by Tristan Mouton with 13, Whitley Larry at eight, Tanner Wilson with seven, and six points by Tasia Duhon and Amari Collins.
The Lady Wolves were scheduled to be on the road for two contests this week, at Walker on Tuesday and at Eunice on Friday.
Wolves
The Wolves hosted LaGrange Friday and fell in district action to the Gators, 67-60.
Despite a slim 46-45 lead for the Wolves at the half, the Gators dumped in 22 points in the last quarter for the win.
Drakkar Broussard led Rayne scorers with 21 points, along with two steals and four rebounds.
Helping the Rayne cause were Charles Jones with 19 points, Drekylon Gibson with a dozen, and Dondracus Joseph at eight.
The Wolves were scheduled to be on the road for both contests this week, at Teurlings on Tuesday and at Eunice on Friday.
