MUSTANG ALL-STARS WIN SUPER REGIONALS - The boys Mustang All-Stars, comprised of league players of the 2016 Rayne Recreation Summer Program, captured top during their super regional tournament held in Youngsville. They qualified to participate in the South Zone National Tournament this week in Youngsville. Rayne all-stars score wins, qualify for national tournaments

All three boy’s all-star teams who represented the City of Rayne and the Rayne Recreation Department during their Super Regional Tournament last week have qualified for their national tournaments. The Super Regional Tournament was held at the Youngsville Sports Complex.
All three teams (pinto, mustang and pony leagues) will return to Youngsville this week.
The Pinto All-Stars was awarded the 2016 Super Regionals Runner-Up banner during a tough tournament which saw them work their way back from an early loss to QSA in the first round. The All-Stars rallied but fell short in the finals where they faced QSA once again.
The Pinto All-Stars are now participating in the Pinto World Series presently being held in Youngsville.
In mustang action, the Rayne All-Star Americans claimed their Super Regional Championship. The All-Stars claimed a productive tournament as they collected their championship banner with a semi-final win over Eunice and a final win over Scott.
The Mustang All-Star Americans are now participating in the South Zone National Tournament presently being held in Youngsville.
The Pony Al-Stars also traveled to Youngsville for their Super Regional Tournament. The Rayne All-Stars defeated Kinder in the finals to claim the tournament championship.
The Pony All-Stars are also in Youngsville this week for their South Zone National Tournament where they will meet 16 teams from the south-eastern section of the United States.
