Warren C. Hayes

CROWLEY – Funeral services were held Saturday, March 28, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Warren C. Hayes, 88, who died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Camelot Place in Crowley.

Rev. Noah Langley officiated for the services.

The family requested visiting hours Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to service time.

Burial was held in Woodlawn Mausoleum.

Mr. Hayes was a native of Indian Bayou, born December 9, 1920 to the late Offord and Delphine Morgan Hayes. He retired from the Crowley Police Department as Assistant Chief of Police in 1971.

Survivors include his daughter, Peggy LeBlanc and her husband Hilliard of Midland; a grandson, Jeff LeBlanc of Lafayette and a great-grandson Logan Leblanc of Lafayette.

Pallbearers were members of the Crowley Police Department.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Tally Leger Hayes, his parents, five brothers, Sidney, Julius, Reggie, Cecil and Thomas Hayes and a sister Lola Faulk.
