Dalton Paul Hulin

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Mowata for Dalton Paul Hulin, 74, who died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 6:30 a.m. surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Hulin was a native of New Iberia and longtime resident of Crowley. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Msgr. Joseph A. LaFleur Knights of Columbus Council 11491. He enjoyed fishing but cherished his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Fr. Joseph Tran, Pastor of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Mr. Hulin is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edvia Richard Hulin of Crowley; one daughter, Melissa H. Belsom and husband Gene of Crowley; one son, Roderick “Ricky” Hulin and wife Janice of Crowley; four grandchildren, Mathew Belsom, Corey Hulin, Brittany Hulin and Madison Belsom; one great-grandchild, Brylee Belsom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julien and Eleanar Gary Hulin; three brothers, Leo, Adam and Paul Hulin.
Pallbearers will be Mathew Belsom, Corey Hulin, Julius Hulin, Timmy Hulin, Keith Hulin, Pat Richard and Dewayne Bertrand.
