Mr. and Mrs.Brandon (Sonya) Hussey of Rayne are announcing the birth of their first child, a son, Jacque Claude, who was born at 5:46 p.m. on May 12, 2014, at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

At birth, which was one month earlier than expected, he weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Nolan and Audrey Tauzin of Rayne.

Paternal grandparents are Tina Hussey and Claude Hussey of Rayne.

Godparents are Blake Hussey and Crystal Granger.
