Bomb threat at WalGreens

According to witnesses, a bomb threat was apparently called into Walgreens Pharmacy at the corner of Oddfellows Rd. and Hwy. 11111 earlier Sunday evening, though that has yet to be verified by any local or parish agencies. Fire trucks and police cars surrounded the store for a couple of hours and blocked off Oddfellows right past the intersection heading west. Authorities were still on the scene at around 8:30 p.m., though many departments had already left. Another bomb threat was called in on Northern Ave. last week. It turned out to be a hoax.
