Pastor Mary Ann Cole will be officiating. Visitation will be held at Cunningham on Saturday beginning at 8:00 am until the time of service. Christine was born June 2, 1961, in Rayne, Louisiana. She is the daughter of the late Walter Lee Francis, Sr. and Annie Mae Wilturner Francis.

Christine graduated from Rayne High School in Rayne, Louisiana with the class of 1980. She had countless friends there that she remained close with.

Christine worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years.

Christine had a heart that was full of love. Anytime she had the opportunity to help others, she went out of her way to make sure they were helped. She was the life of the party. She surely knew how to have a good time. She was a strong believer in Christ. She enjoyed going to church and reading her bible scriptures daily. She loved spending time with her friends, family, children and grandchildren. To her grandchildren she was known as “Mi-Mi.” Christine’s favorite past-time was shopping. If she wasn’t home, her family and friends knew where to find her. Just about everyone in the mall knew her on a first name basis. Christine went by the nickname “Ms. Chancellor.” It was a name her family had chosen for her because she was always decked out and dressed from head to toe. Christine lived a good life. She told her best friend that when she passed her headstone was going to read “I enjoyed my life.” And that she did.

She is survived by her daughter, Christian and her husband, Lincoln Narcisse of Lafayette; her son, Marcus Monroe of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Chrysta and Chloe’ Narcisse of Lafayette; her mother, Annie Mae Wilturner Francis of Rayne; four brothers, Walter and his wife, Shirley Francis, Jr., Coy Francis, Al and his wife, Wendy Francis and Calvin and his wife, Andrea Francis of Rayne; five sisters, Bernadine Senegal, Earline Francis and Annie L.
