The city of Crowley has found its replacement for Chief of Police K.P. Gibson in “Jimmy” Broussard.
When Crowley Chief of Police K.P. Gibson was elected Acadia Parish Sheriff on Oct. 24, 2015, the hard work he’d put into winning the election had finally come to an end.
For Jimmy Broussard and Scott Fogleman, however, Oct. 24 was the day their hard work began.
Joseph Wilturner, owner of Wilturner Funeral Home in Crowley, was arrested last week and charged with felony theft.
Crowley Chief of Police K.P. Gibson reports that investigators with the Crowley Police Department have made an arrest regarding an attempted homicide from December 2014, which occurred in the 900 block of Ross Avenue.
And then, there were two.
Out of a field of four -- Oliver Bernard, A. "Jimmy" Broussard, Scott Fogleman and Berton Gauthreaux -- none were able to pull a straight majority of the vote leaving Broussard and Fogleman to duke it out
