Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office lists 11 arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 11 bookings in the parish jail from February 25, through March 4. Arrested were the following:

•Dustin Dwight Hamous, 24, 1008 Pecan St., Mamou, was charged February 25, with possession of crystal meth. Hamous was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Dennis Lee Manuel Jr., 21, 207 Mulberry St., Mamou, was charged February 25, with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Manuel was released on a $750 bond.

•Robert Gerald Nelson, 31, 301 Carroll Place, Oakdale, was charged February 25, with issuing worthless checks (nine counts). Nelson was released on a $1,875 bond.

•Tonya Mouton, 31, 2124 Homestead Lane, Ville Platte, was charged February 25, with issuing worthless checks (two counts). Mouton was released on a $350 bond.

•Dedra Ann Durgin, 37, 1354 Division Road, Ville Platte was charged February 28, with issuing worthless checks (two counts). Durgin was released on a $400 bond.

•Trulie Lorraine Jagneaux, 19, 119 Cross St., Mamou, was charged March 1, with distribution of schedule IV drugs (zanbars). Bond was set at $20,000.

•Joseph Tony Fontenot, 46, 3778 Opelousas Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 2, with theft by fraud (value of $350). Fontenot was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Kenneth Paul Huval Jr., 36, 2121 Washington St., Ville Platte, was charged March 2, with theft over $500. Huval was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Garret Patrick Berzas, 19, 1824 Hickory St., Ville Platte, was charged March 2, with trespassing and simple battery. Berzas was released on a $2,500 bond.

•Jordan Scott Arnaud, 19, 1117 Bearcat Road, Basile, was charged March 3, with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Arnaud was released on $7,500 bond.

•Alvin Lance Breaux, 23, 708 Theophile Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 3, with falsifying a police report. Breaux was released on a $10,000 bond.
