Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office lists 16 arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 16 bookings in the parish jail from December 30, through January 6.

Arrested were the following:

•Paul Lewis Bertrand, 25, 411 W. Cypress St., Ville Platte, was charged December 30, with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $15,000.

•Vanessa Ann Pierce, 34, 1703 Gradney Lane, Mamou, was charged December 30, with disturbing the peace. Pierce was released on a $500 bond.

•Raven Spencer Gallow, 23, 513 N. Fontenot St., Ville Platte, was charged December 30, with purse snatching. Gallow was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Marline Guillory, 59, 605 Airline Drive, Opelousas, was charged December 30, with simple burglary and resisting arrest by flight. Guillory was released on a $15,000 bond.

•Jimmy Gallow, 18, 109 E. Beech St., Ville Platte, was charged December 30, Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana. Gallow was released on a $20,000.

•Ricky P. Thibodeaux, 44, 700 Juanita St., Eunice, was charged December 30, with driving under suspension. Thibodeaux was released on a $466.50 bond.

•Damian Clark, 18, 1381 Division Road, Ville Platte, was charged December 30, with simple battery and disturbing the peace. Clark was released on a $1,500 bond.

•Ricky James Richard, 22, 629 E. Houston St., Opelousas, was charged December 30, with armed robbery. Bond was set at $100,000.

•Earl Joseph Fontenot, 23, 305 Cheryl St., Ville Platte, was charged January 1, with open container, reckless operation, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, no seat belt, driving left of center, driving wrong way on a one way and improper lane usage. Fontenot was released on a $566.50 bond.

•Peter Seraile, 17, 1057 Campbell Ave., Ville Platte, was charged January 1, with disturbing the peace by fighting. Seraile was released on a $500 bond.

•Scott L. Robert, 34, 730 W. Magnolia St., Ville Platte, was charged January 1, with driving under suspension and expired MVI (motor vehicle inspection). Robert was released on a $2,546.50 bond.

•Shawn Michael Fontenot, 29, 906 W. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged January 5, with unauthorized use of a moveable. Bond was set at $5,000.

•Charles Grady Daniel Jr., 47, 712 Lucy St., Jennings, was charged January 5, with theft over $500. Bond was set at $7,500.

•Nolan Paul Manuel, 33, 145 Carl St., Iota, was charged January 5, with forgery and issuing worthless checks (10 counts). Bond was set at $5,000.

•Sonya Renee Thompson, 19, 217 Stephanie St., Ville Platte, was charged January 6, with indecent behavior with a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. Bond was set at $50,000.

•Cedillo Larnette, 34, 1408 Martin Luther King, Ville Platte, was charged January 6, with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Bond was set at $10,000.
