Powerlifting team applauded by board

Iota may be relatively new to powerlifting, but it’s no slouch.
Case in point, it is now the American Powerlifting Federation national champions in the co-ed division, and its boys team a national runner-up.

Parkview edges Lady Dogs in semifinals

Iota’s Cambri St. Andre pulls up for a shot over a defender Wednesday during the Lady Dogs’ 59-45 Class 3A semifinal loss to Parkview Baptist at the Univeristy Center in Hammond. St. Andre scored a team-high 20 points and had five rebounds, two assists and three steals in the loss.

The Iota Lady Bulldogs could not have picked a worse time to have a poor shooting night.

Iota Homecoming: Bulldogs to crown new queen

During half time of the Bulldogs’ football contest Friday, Sept. 25, the queen will be crowned.
