5 Acadia Parish teams heading to girls playoffs

The Louisiana High School Athletic Association has released the 2015 LHSAA Girls' Basketball Playoff Bracket and five Acadia teams will see their seasons extended.
All have gaves in the first Round
In 4A, the Rayne Lady Wolves earned the seven seed and will host Ursuline Academy. The winner of that game will face either 10-seed St. Thomas More or 23-seed Beau Chene. Rayne finished its season with a 23-6 record.
Two teams will take part in the 3A bracket, No. 11 Notre Dame and No. 15 Iota. The Lady Pios will host Erath (the 22 seed) and could go on to face the winner of 6-seeded E.D. White and 27-seeded Madison. The Lady Dogs will host Caldwell Parish (the 18 seed). A win then would likely mean a showdown with 2-seed Ville Platte, or, potentially, 31-seeded Abbeville. Notre Dame finished the season with a 19-8 record; Iota finished with a 17-11 record.
Down in Class B, Midland ended up with the 10-seed and will host 23-seeded Dodson. A Lady Rebels win would propel the team into a battle with either 7-seeded Anacoco or 26-seeded Grace Christian. Midland ended the year with a record of 17-13.
Finally, despite only finishing with a 2-20 record, Northside Christian has the chance to start anew, landing at the 17-seeded spot. The Lady Warriors will face No. 16 Claiborne Christian. The winner of that matchup will face No. 1 Summerfield, which earned a first round bye.
