Joseph V. "Pop" LeJeune

KINGSLAND, Texas – Joseph V. “Pop” LeJeune, 71 of Kingsland, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012. He was born May 5, 1940 to Calise LeJeune and Lillian (Carrier) LeJeune in Leonville. Joseph and his wife Della moved to Kingsland in 1992 coming from Crowley, he was a member of the Buchanan West Baptist Church in Buchanan Dam, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; one brother; two sons; one grandson; and one great granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Della K. LeJeune of Kingsland; sons, Gerney LeJeune and wife Tracey of Llano, Texas and Kalan LeJeune and wife Melissa Penny of Kingsland; daughters, Georgia LeJeune of Crowley and Debbie Guidry and husband Jerry Sr. of Buchanan Dam; sister, Corrine Deshotel and husband Terrell of Iota; daughters-in–law, Barbara LeJeune of Stephenville, Texas and Kathy LeJeune of Tow, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Friday January 13, 2012 at the Buchanan West Baptist Church at 10 a.m. with Brother John Taylor officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Buchanan West Baptist Church, 850 Lillian Dean Buchanan Dam, Texas 78609-2526.
