Morgan Ann Brown and Bryan Aymond Johnson

Brown, Johnson set to wed Friday, April 17

 

Morgan Ann Brown of Baton Rouge and Bryan Aymond Johnson of Slidell have announced that they are engaged and committed to be wed on the evening of Friday, April 17.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Joseph Brown of Eunice. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randell Rougeau, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Curlin Brown, all of Eunice.

Morgan is a 2005 graduate of St. Edmund High School in Eunice. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication disorders in 2009, and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where she earned a Doctor of Audiology degree in 2013. She is presently employed at Our Lady of the Lake Hearing and Balance Center in Baton Rouge.

The prospective groom is the son of Georgette Meaux Dugas of Crowley and Gerald L. Johnson, also of Crowley. His maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. George Lee Meaux of Crowley, and his paternal grandparents are Mrs. Rita Chiasson Johnson of Crowley and the late Mr. Doris Johnson.

Bryan graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley in 2003 before attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering in 2008. He is currently employed as a production engineer by Shell Oil Company in New Orleans.

The couple will be married at St. Edward Roman Catholic Church in Richard during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony officiated by Fr. Wayne Duet.

They will reside in Slidell following their wedding.
