Couple announces June wedding

Alcide and Paulette Primeaux of Rayne are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Kelsey Paige Primeaux, to Dylan Joseph Lormand, son of Merlin and Terry Lormand of Mire.
The couple will be married on Friday, June 24, 2016, during a 6:30 p.m. wedding ceremony at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, followed by a reception at The Crossing at Mervine Kahn in Rayne.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Meche of Maurice, Mr. and Mrs. James Norris Leger of Rayne, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Primeaux.
Kelsey is a 2011 graduate of Rayne High School, will attain a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene this month from The University of Louisiana at Monroe, and plans to pursue a career as a registered dental hygenist.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Al Peltier, Allendale Lormand of Mire, and the late Merlis Lormand.
Dylan is a 2010 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley, attained a degree in environmental and sustainable resources with a minor in geology from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2014, and is currently employed by Luminat at Oak Grove Power Plant in Franklin, Texas.
Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Franklin, Texas.
