Couple plans fall wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Zaunbrecher Jr. of Rayne are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Alyssa Ann Zaunbrecher of Houston, Texas, to Joshua Nathan Lowery of Houston, Texas, son of Daniel Lowery and the late Donna Lowery of Lake Charles.
The couple will be joined in holy matrimony on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the Catholic Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity West Point in West Point, New York.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alfred and Marceline Zaunbrecher of Rayne, and the late John and Jane Golden of Crowley.
Alyssa is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley, attained a bachelor of arts degree in 2010 from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a master of business administration in 2013 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She is employed by Shell Oil Company in Houston, Texas.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Helen Hedrich of Lake Charles, the late Raymond Reeds, and the late Arthur Lee and Mae Dell Lowery.
Joshua is a 2001 graduate of St. Louis Catholic High School in Lake Charles, attended the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York in 2005 where he received a bachelor of science degree, and in 2012 attained a master of business administration from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He is employed by Baker Hughes in Houston, Texas.
Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
